Dow AgroSciences wins the Agrow Awards for Best Industry Collaboration with GVK Biosciences

Hyderabad, India — September 21, 2015 — Dow AgroSciences, a company focused on the development of new technologies and sustainable solutions for modern agriculture has won the 2015 edition of the prestigious Agrow Awards under the category of Best Industry collaboration with GVK Biosciences (GVK BIO) – Asia’s leading Discovery Research and Development organization based out of Hyderabad, India. The Agrow Awards honour individuals and companies who have achieved high standards in the crop protection and agrochemical industry.

GVK BIO has been working on several target-based programs for Dow AgroSciences aimed towards discovering novel, early-stage agricultural products. Spanning more than 7 years, the main objective of the collaboration is to synthesize novel chemical entities which have the potential to be highly efficient insecticides with wide applications in agriculture. Together the two organizations have successfully discovered a series of novel insecticides.
