Responsibilities–
· Ensure efficient delivery ofcompounds through scientific guidance to team:
o Providescientific guidance to team members and troubleshoot for efficient delivery ofprojects
o Identify,evaluate and design synthetic route and reaction parameters
o Guide theteam on process optimization & development and yield improvement resultingin cost effective solutions and execution
o Monitorproject progress to ensure adherence to quality standards/ timelines
o Guidethe team on the usage of advanced analytical techniques
o Makeweekly and final project reports
o Examineand sign lab note books and data cards of the team
· Build client relationshipby delivering a superior client experience :
o Understandclient requirements and regularly communicate with the client to manage expectations
o Provideperiodic project updates on productivity and quality to the client
o Takeappropriate action on client’s feedback
· Ensure safety at workthrough enforcement of good laboratory practices:
o Ensure complianceand train the team members for safety protocols
o Identifyand mitigate potential safety risks
o Guide andtrain team on usage of equipment/apparatus/instruments as per SOPs and general housekeepingnorms
· Maintainrecords, data integrity and IP confidentiality:
o Train team on LNBdocumentation, Data and IP Confidentiality as per norms
o Ensure accuracyof LNB records updated by team and audit based on client requirement
o Implementdata confidentiality through adequate controls
· Ensure high morale andskill development of self and team:
o Train &develop team members through knowledge sharing sessions and nominate fortraining programs
o Regularlyreview performance of the team
o Assessreadiness of employees for project allocation
o Recognizebest performers through various reward & recognition programs
Required Educational Qualification & Relevant experience
Ph.D. / PDF (Organic/ Medicinal Chemistry) with 3 – 6 years of relevant experience
Additional Requirements
Candidates with their research publications in leading journals would be preferred
